Alex will start the workshop with a 30 minute YIN practice, which is designed to offer deep physical, mental, and energetic benefits by encouraging stillness and mindful awareness.
Through long-held, gentle postures, it targets the connective tissues, joints, and fascia, helping improve flexibility and mobility while releasing tension stored in the body. On a mental level, yin promotes relaxation, stress relief, and emotional balance by activating the parasympathetic nervous system. Energetically, it supports the smooth flow of chi (life force) through the meridians, fostering harmony and vitality.
Matt will then lead the group into an energetic healing journey using a blend of different modalities, such as reiki energy healing, angelic, shamanic, and multi-dimensional practices designed to elicit deep relaxation within the body but more importantly, healing. During the end of this healing journey, the group will also experience a sound bath, which is a meditative practice where participants are immersed in soothing vibrations from instruments like crystal bowls, gongs, or chimes. The sound frequencies help calm the nervous system, quiet the mind, and release tension in the body.
Many people experience deep relaxation, stress relief, and a sense of emotional or energetic balance, making it a gentle yet powerful form of healing and restoration.
