11th Annual Veterans Haven 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk

It’s race week for the annual Lion’s 5K Cross Country Run!!!

Join us as we participate in the Lions 5th Annual 5k Cross Country Run to raise money for the blind and vision impaired. We are going to have a lot of fun and will be making a better life for other while we’re doin it.

Online Registration Closes This Weekend! This Sunday is the last chance to register online at the current price point!

The timed off road 5K course winds through a wooded trail and registrants have the option of either running or walking. For those who prefer a shorter route, we have a one-mile fun trail option separate from the main 5K course. All race participants have the option to run/walk with their dog or cat in stroller. Dogs must be leashed. At the start of the race, all individual runners will go first followed by runners with dogs, then walkers with/without dog or cat in stroller.

Proceeds from this event will help fund advanced medical care for shelter animals, trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR), behavioral training, foster care, and our surrender diversion program. Everyone is encouraged to invite all animal lovers & race enthusiasts to participate!

All registrants (other than same day) will receive a standard cotton event shirt. Registrants who raise $100 (registration fee not included in this amount) will receive a performance-style, dri-fit event t-shirt. Dashin' thru the .... Lights! 2 Mile Walk or Run

Start your holiday off with a 2 mile run or 2 mile family fun run/walk through our spectacular Holiday Light Display. The course is mostly on stone gravel so it is recommended to bring jogging strollers.

Be prepared to start your event within your Corral/Start Window. Your start time begins when you cross the Start Line. We can not add more to these groups once they sell out. If you wish to race with a group, please register together for the same event and the same Corral/Start Time. The first group will start at 5:00 pm and the last group will start at 8:30 pm. Start Times are first come, first serve. The Start Line shuts down at 8:45 pm and the Finish Line shuts down at 9:00 pm.

It's Race Week!

DQ Treasure Island Sprint Triathlon, Duathlon, Aquabike, & Kayak Triathlon

The race will take place Sunday September 28th, 2025 - 8:00 a.m. sharp. All events start and finish at Riverfront Park, Pt Pleasant, NJ.

The swim is in the river out and back parallel to beach, the bike is 4 loops on roads, the run is on roads and finishes in the park.

Triathlon Distances: 1/4 mile Swim, 10.5 mile Bike, & 3 mile Run

Duathlon Distances: 2 mile Run, 10.5 mile Bike, & 3 mile Run

Aquabike Distances: 1/4 mile Swim & 10.5 mile Bike

Kayak Triathlon Distances: 1.5 mile Kayak, 10.5 mile Bike, & 3 mile Run
