Advocare Haddonfield Pediatric Association is committed to providing your children with excellent pediatric care. Our tradition of personal, patient-centered medical care began in 1947, when Dr. Anthony Repici opened his pediatric medical office in his home on Haddon Avenue, just next door to our present location. For decades, Dr. Repici cared for the children of southern New Jersey in his practice and as the first chairman of the Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center Department of Pediatrics in Camden, New Jersey. Dr. Repici welcomed his daughter, Dr. Concetta Renkun and son-in-law, Dr. Chester Renkun, into Haddonfield Pediatric Association, founded at our present facility, in 1971. Over the next few decades, the practice was joined by Dr. Barton Friedman (1972, retired 2011), Dr. Henry Smergel (1982, retired 2013), Dr. Theresa Welsh (1986), Dr. Kevin King (1997), Dr. Claire Caltabiano (1997), Dr. Erin Milligan-Milburn (2011), and Dr. Thomas Killeen (2013). As Advocare Haddonfield Pediatric Association since 2005, our five physicians and staff of caring professionals share and further Dr. Repici's original commitment to providing quality health care for children. Working together with you, the parents, we are dedicated to the physical, emotional, and social health of your children. Throughout the growth of our practice for more than sixty years, caring for generations of South Jersey's children, we have remained constant in our dedication to providing welcoming, personal, state-of-the-art health care in historic Haddonfield.

Good morning! Please note that Mt. Vernon Ave. will be closed all day today (Monday 2/24). The front parking lot will still be accessible from Haddon Ave. For access to the rear parking lot, you may use the next-door driveway.

Due to street repair, Haddon Avenue is closed in front of our office. You can enter our back parking lot from Mount Vernon Avenue, or if you are approaching the office on Haddon Avenue police can direct you into the front lot. Please allow a little more time for this detour.

UPDATE: We are happy to announce that Dr. Welsh's cancer is very treatable with surgery and oral medication. She and the rest of the HPA family greatly appreciate the support you've given us.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

We want to let you know that Dr. Tess Welsh is taking a medical leave of absence.

She has been diagnosed with early stage lung cancer and will receive several months of treatment. We wish her a steady journey on her way to a cure and she will be in our thoughts and prayers while we continue to take excellent care of our patients and families.
