Today Dr. C is in Charlotte NC for the course in endodontics. Coffee & extracted teeth ready to go!!

With the masshealth crises the local endodontists we have historically referred to had (understandably) stopped taking masshealth for patients under 21. The key to life is to educate yourself and problem solve. So here we are!

Between our new associate and this additional training for Dr. Safizadeh we will likely be able to treat many of these cases for teenagers with severely decayed teeth in office.

Did you know Dr. Safizadeh also specializes in tooth gems???!??! This patient presented with an 18 carrot gold coffin gem with a chief complaint of a non dentist tooth gem placer being unable to achieve proper bonding resulting in her swallowing her last tooth gem! Within minutes we had achieved this beautiful result. The last ones we did (natural diamond and gold) have lasted 2 years now 💪💪💪. So now if you ever need a professional tooth gemer you now know who to call. Happy halloween from the HMD fam 🎃🎃🎃🧙🧙‍♀️👻👻👻

As many of you may be aware, serious problems have been brewing with Masshealth & their new administrator. We have been very close to being forced to stop taking it or cutting back our medicaid operations due to the inability of their new system to process claims.

Another pediatric dentist has created this petition in an attempt to draw the attention of legislators to this issue.

Recently a number of local practices have dropped Masshealth and/or stopped taking new Masshealth patients. We do not want to follow suit. Please take a minute of your time to sign this petition as the issue is still on going.

It's been exactly 6 years to the date that Hampshire Meadow Family & Pediatric Dentistry opened its doors! 8-10-2019. As we pass this date it is very fitting that Dr. Nubani would complete a difficult case such as this. On Friday utilizing cerec software, CAD-CAM dentistry, years of staining & glazing experience (and of course continued education), and proper planning Dr. Nubani completed this case in a single appointment. It was an extremely difficult case due to canine substitution, presence of crowding, and shade matching of a single anterior restoration. She is a perfectionist and she nailed it on this one 👌🏽👌🏽🙏🏼. In order to hide the margin she utilized retraction cord so we will see a nice blend at the gumline within a week!!

It is truly a blessing to see so many children smiling in our office on a daily basis. To know some have that smile given back to them by us is deeply emotional and the reason why we try so hard. This young 4 year old was ecstatic about his teeth 4 weeks after his procedure. We didn't even need to ask for smile to take some photos since he could not stop smiling!!

This case was completed by Dr. Safizadeh, one of our board certified pediatric dentists.

Claims are not processing but we received a sufficient enough emergency payment to continue seeing Masshealth patients. Below (in the comments) is the letter sent by the MDS president to the president of Masshealth recently. We are committed to advocating for our patients and keeping them aware of this awful situation regarding their insurance.
