Good evening to all of you gentlefolks!
I had taken a long hiatus from posting daily readings, and while I don’t intend to start that back up again I did want to stop by with a special Imbolc reading.
Imbolc is one of the high holidays on the wheel of the year, and is personally the most significant in my practice. Imbolc is a time when we light candles, and hold out hope for the winter’s passing. It is a time for looking ahead past the weariness of winter and renewing faith in the promise of coming Spring.
For this reading I used my favorite simple 2 card spread, and it’s meant to tell us what to take with us into the spring, and what we would be better left leaving behind in the habits of winter.

Breathe In
The Six of Cups. This card is a lovely symbol meant to remind us of the sweet memories of our childhood. It is everything that makes us feel playful and relaxed, it is the echo of friendships over years and feelings they leave us with. It is one of the softest cards in the deck, with gentle remedies brimming in its cups. In this placement the card whispers to us that we need to spend more time and focus on reconnecting ourselves to those who love us. It tells us to seek out company and renew ties, to center ourselves around the bliss that comes spending good times with good folks.

Breathe Out
The Ace of Wands. This card calls to everything that is industrious and passionate. It is movement and ideas, driven motivation and fiery focus. In this placement the cards tell us that it is not the season to become so turbulent, it is not the time to be so focused on works and progression. I feel that this card speaks to our weariness that has been carved into us over the past season. Maybe we feel as though we need to jump directly into the Sun and get to work as soon as possible. But that is not the advice here. We must let go of that need to catch up, and put our energies into simply enjoying the warmth of the upcoming months, that is where the healing comes from.

Remember these wisdoms- put your focus into gentle company and acknowledge our need for the healing that comes with this soft remedy. Be still, and spend your time well. There will be moments for movement, but you must first take care of yourself.

Have a blessed week loves, and merry Imbolc. ✨

good evening all you gentlefolks.
here’s a Sky Spread. The Sun will tell us what to expect from the week ahead, The Moon what challenges will reveal themselves, and The Star is what actions we should take.

🌞
Here the Ace of Cups was pulled. This card is an outpouring of all the good feels. It comes to us in this placement to give us something to look forward to in the week, a message that we will experience a flow of things that inspire connection to those around us. Take moments to appreciate these feelings and allow them to refresh you.

🌚
The Wheel of Fortune, the 10th card of the Major Arcana. This placement whispers to us the challenges that will present themselves as the days progress and few cards are as potent as The Wheel. This card comes to remind us that there are a great many things out of our control, and it speaks that there will be an unexpected event that will occur that will disrupt the flow from the previous placement. This card is not necessarily doom and gloom, it is just a reminder that our circumstances can change dramatically with little that we can do to change.

🌟
The Four of Wands. This is a warm card of celebration and jovial attitudes. The Star placement tells us what actions we can best do to make the most of our time, and this card reminds us to truly appreciate all the good things that we are gifted with. There is a delicate message here in this and the previous placements. Spend time organizing yourself when unexpected challenges occur, spend less time lamenting what is uncontrollable and more time appreciating what preserves past changes. The Four of Wands is warmth and stability, let it’s advice help you this week.

good afternoon all you gentlefolks ✨
I know it’s been awhile but here is a Breathe Spread for you. The first card will tell us the energies and motivations we should take into ourselves for the upcoming days, and the second card will tell us the things we are better off letting go of.

Breathe In~
The 8 of Wands. This is a dynamic card and it’s vibrancy is usually seen as good luck, as it comes to us when elements in our lives externally come together to allow us to succeed in our endeavors. This card is a messenger that the winds are right, and the opportunity is here for you to reach out and go after the things you’ve been seeking. The wisdom here is to focus what we want and use these situations to our best benefit. Take this with you into the days ahead and tilt your being towards success.

Breathe Out~
The 8 of Swords. This card stands in a direct opposition from the previous placement, and warns us that our internal perspectives are holding us back. While the Wands card speaks to a favorable external environment, this Swords card calls out what is happening in our own minds, warning us that the feeling of being trapped is one of our own making. Take time this week to self examine, and let go of the inhibitions that sabotage your peace.

I love this particular simple spread because the cards often choose to be pulled in an almost a poetic stance against each other. The messages are clear on where we need to put our focus and what we must grow away from. Take these little wisdoms into your week ahead and have a blessed time of it. 🌹

good afternoon all you gentlefolks, here’s a sweetly simple single card reading for the week ahead. ✨

The Six of Pentacles
Pentacle cards are earthly symbols for how we relate to the physical world around us. They speak about how our environment and our circumstances impact our journey. Many spiritual teachings tell us to separate the mundane world from our spirit selves, but I have found that it is unwise to completely discount the tangible world around us - for we depend on it too much for our sense of security and prosperity. The tarot understands this and whispers wisdoms to us through the Pentacles suit. This card in particular is one that speaks on generosity, of giving and receiving. The woman depicted holds a scale meant to represent the balance between what we need and what those around us need. This card has a twofold meaning though and I implore you to find for yourself what applies best for you in the coming days. On the one hand this card invokes a spirit of giving, advising us of when we have extra to gift it to those who have less. The power of giving with an open heart is enriching to our souls. But on the other hand it also presses us to acknowledge when we need help and encourages us to take it when it is offered without pride to cloud or coddle us.

Take these small bits of wisdom into the week ahead. Be in touch with your own needs, and seek help when you need it. Be mindful of what you have and what you can gift. Keep the scales in balance for everyone’s benefit. Have a blessed week loves 🌹

good afternoon all you gentlefolks, here a Breathe Spread for the week ahead 💖

Breathe In~
Justice. This card stands as one of the pillars of order in the deck, as it encompasses rationalization and truth. When Justice comes to us in a reading it brings with it a need for clear sight, it’s wisdom for us is to take an objective perspective- to see all the facts and mingle our intuition with our deductive reasoning. It has been said that this card comes to us when the choices that we are making will have longer reaching consequences on the flow of our futures, so careful consideration is needed. This card is not forsaking your emotional ties to your choices, but rather letting them take a back seat to your motivations as we see the Truth of things undiluted.

Breathe Out~
The Devil. There are many preconceptions of this card and as many meanings as there are readers to the cards. For my own readings, the Devil is a symbol for all of our darker impulses, a messenger of a less civilized and hungry voice within all of us. It is the animalistic and hedonistic tendency that we learn to filter out. The reckless pursuit of pleasure, no matter the cost. However, we are made a better and more whole person to shine a light on these darker desires- to understand them and ourselves, to more importantly, to keep them from growing in the dark like a mold on our soul. We must acknowledge these impulses, and then we can more easily chose not to feed them.

This spread is clear and potent- we must draw into ourselves the objective truth of our choices as we make them, and let go of our darker and more selfish impulses in order to make them. There is a message of acknowledgment of our own selves and our motivations in this spread, and I hope it brings you some guidance for the week coming.

Have a most blessed day, and remember that you can always book a private video reading with me whenever it suits you. 🌹✨

Happy Solstice all you gentlefolks~
here’s a 3 card spread for a dramatic return to the weekly reading.

🌞
Here is The Wheel of Fortune, the 10th card of the Major Arcana. This card whispers to us that circumstances are shifting in the days ahead, that luck will change is flow and the pace of its rhythm will affect us. The next question that we always have is, will it be good luck or bad luck that comes to me? But the wisdom of this card is more nuanced, it is a lesson and a reminder that change is the only constant in our lives. All things take a turn on the Wheel, and while life does change there is comfort in that too. Take the changes as they come and enjoy the fruits while they remain available to us.

🌚
This Hanged Man was pulled in this placement for us today. This card can be an enormously uncomfortable energy to encounter, as it’s most poignant message is to remind us how very much our lives are out of our control. We spend our years on this lovely blue marble, and life sometimes happens at us or to us rather than what we invite by our own choice. But there is a glimmer of hope here, a peace in Letting Go. Challenges will confront us, filling us with a fresh awareness of our own helplessness. This card warns that we will be made uncomfortable by the turning of the Wheel in the coming days, but it also gifts us with the knowledge our inner peace can be persevered no matter the circumstances.

🌟
The Chariot. Almost as a rebuke to the Hanged Man and the Wheel of Fortune this card appears to offer us the advice we crave. This card is about empowerment in our own agency. It is pulled here in this placement to remind us that there are aspects of our life that are within our control, that remain within our power. There is a subtle nuance here, a give and take of the cards before and I hope all of you catch it - yes life is messy and we are unwitting passengers of higher forces beyond our comprehension. But, we have governance over our own reactions and there are choices that remain to us no matter what happens to us. This card pushes us to find our own agency in our lives, to persevere and make the effort to stand tall and steady despite the ebbs and flows that surround us. This card reminds us that we CAN endure and that we should.

This is a mighty spread for such an important day. The Summer Solstice, when light lingers the longest, a day celebrating our fathers, the afterglow of a newly minted and long overdue national holiday of Juneteenth, and during the long summer celebrations of Pride. What a magic time, and I hope you get to celebrate these days.
Take the magic and the meaning of this reading for yourselves today, and remember I am always here for a private reading whenever you feel ready for one. 🌹

here’s a Breathe Spread for all you gentlefolks on this holiday weekend.

Breathe In~
The Ten of Cups. This is one of the most blissful cards in the deck, and it represents a full portion of love, adoration and safety. The wisdom of this is for us to look for these moments of love in the week ahead, to drink deep from them and let it refresh us. It is a simple and beautiful message for our days coming.

Breathe Out~
The Nine of Swords. This card speaks to anxieties and panics that have grown like weeds in our own mind, and we must draw them out of ourselves in order to enjoy the lovely moments to come. This year has been filled with crisis, and we carry the scars of that on our hearts and minds. But we must make a conscious effort to release ourselves from that pattern of anxiety, and allow ourselves to experience the joys that this season will bring us.

here’s a Breathe Spread for all you gentlefolks this lovely Sunday afternoon 🌹

Breathe In~
The 13th card of the Major Arcana, Death. This card has a looming reputation, but the truth of it’s the wisdom is something different then what popular culture has taught us to expect. Death in the Tarot is the Great Shape Changer. It does not point to a specific “death” of any one person, but rather a potent and dramatic shift in our lives. This card is not comfortable, and we as humans tend to balk at the idea of change- but in this position we are advised to ride with this change, to breathe it into ourselves and allow it to seep into our perspective. Take the changes as they come, holding onto the peace that we can foster in our inner core - acknowledging what is beyond our control to keep.

Breathe Out-
The Six of Wands. This card is about success, victory and accolades. It is the winner’s strut, showered in congratulations. It can be confusing to find this card in this position, as something that we must let go of in the coming week. It is not that we will not succeed, it is not a portent of doom, it is just and advisement that we need to let go of our need for acknowledgement. This is an important distinction to make to understand the message here- do not be motivated by your need to be rewarded. Do your works because they must be done, and make an effort to separate it from the needs of your ego.

This spread is a lesson in humbleness. Acknowledging the illusion of control we hide ourselves in, and accepting the changes that come. All while letting go of the need to be praised and gratified, letting our successes be born without ego. Medicine is sometimes bitter, but it heals us all the same. Have a blessed week loves ✨

good evening all you gentlefolks, here’s a Sky Spread for the week ahead. The🌞 will tell us the general theme of the week, the 🌚 will tell us of the subtle challenges we will encounter, and the 🌟 will tell us what actions and mindsets we should best take.

🌞
The Page of Pentacles. This card comes to us at the start of something new, as all Pages do. In the earthly expression of Pentacles this Page tells us that there is a new opportunity, skill, or object to be had in the start of the week. Allow yourself to be enamored and excited by this opportunity, it may challenge us and make us feel clumsy and new - but that is a good feeling to have every once in awhile.

🌚
The Five of Swords. This card is placed as a clear and direct warning. Fives usually point to a struggle of some sort, a set back or a conflict and this card specifically indicates and argument where words fly as sharp as blades. Take this warning, and measure out yourselves carefully in conversations in the week ahead. You may win the argument, but at the cost of hurting those around you.

🌟
The Ace of Cups. This is a particularly lovely card, and it meshes well into the previous cards. This card is a flow of compassion and gentleness. Pulled in this placement it advises us to move with gentleness in the week ahead, to temper ourselves with kind flows. You may be challenged by the works that present themselves even if they intrigue you, and you may be tempted to join in on harsh arguments that confront you - but the wisdom of this card is to be connected to a inner well of love and tenderness. Remember to keep your cup full, in both your examinations of yourself and interactions with those around you.

Have a blessed week y’all 💖

good afternoon all you gentlefolks 🌹
here’s one of my favorite and most simple spreads, the two card Breathe spread. The first card will tell us what is necessary to take into ourselves for the week ahead, and the second will tell us what we would be better off letting go of.

Breathe In~
The Four of Cups. The art of this card is one of my favorites, and it’s meaning is potent for us. Withdraw, and reflect. This particular card comes up when a lack of reaction is required, when we must take a step back from the goings on of our lives and simply be calm in ourselves. Sometimes this card can whisper of situations that beg for our attention, either in a good way or a bad way these events will tug at us to have an emotional reaction. But the wisdom of this card is to be uninvolved, to be stoic and retreat into ourselves. To wait out these passing stimuli.

Breathe Out~
The Hierophant. This card tends to be one of the more ambiguous of the Major Arcana, it has been called The Pope or The Teacher and it represents established wisdom. This card is the time that we spend learning and relying on conventional practice and taught understanding. In this placement it communicates that we must let go of our urge to apply passed on advice. This card can come as a trusted mentor, or guidance that we seek. Sometimes it is enormously beneficial to rely on someone more experienced than ourselves, or what is an established best practice. But in this week ahead we must not seek out that advice, we must strive to have our own opinion and understanding for ourselves. Perhaps this week will require an imaginative solution that only you can puzzle out, or perhaps we are meant simply to wait it out as the Four of Cups indicates.

This spread never fails to have a particular ebb and flow to it, as the cards play off of each other to reveal layers of application. Take these wisdoms into your week ahead all you lovely folks, and have a blessed time of it. ✨

good morning all you gentlefolks ✨
here’s a card for the week ahead~

The Ten of Swords
All humans, even tarot readers, have a habit of wanting to sugar coat things, wanting to tell someone what they want to hear. I’ve read dozens of books that explicitly mention avoiding negativity in a reading to preserve the wonderment of the querent. But then you pull cards like this, and I refuse to be dishonest about it.
It limits us to think of things as strictly bad or good, positive or negative. Events that play out in our lives have extended ripples that may lead from something desperate to something grand. That being said, there are experiences that we all wish to avoid and this is one. All Ten cards of the Minor Arcana denote a level of completion or wholeness in their respective elements. Swords represent Air, and Air is everything that is thought and communication - the breath that we use to share with one another. The Swords suit however is the most outwardly destructive of the 4 elements. I have always thought that this is because it is our natural human inclination to be aggressive with our ideas and our words, to persuade others through domination. The Ten of Swords can speak of a betrayal, a cataclysmic pain. At its base, it signifies that someone else has made a choice that will harm us. This is a warning for the week ahead, but it is not just a warning of someone out to get you. This card has a layer that is often missed, it’s the pose that we take. This card is an end, yes, but it is not our total ending. A situation, an offer, a relationship, something will be lost to you and that will be outside of your control. But how you react to it will be all the difference. The Ten of Swords comes to us when we wish to wallow in our pain, when we want to be undone by it. But you don’t have to be. The waters there at the edge of the card represent our ability to move on, to survive away from this situation. A door will close this week, but despite the hurt it will cause us there is a path to heal from it.

That was a longer one, but sometimes there are layers to even the smallest number of cards in a reading. Take these wisdoms and make the best out of this week coming loves. 💖

here’s a gentle Sunday reading for all you wonderful folks 🌹

Breathe In~
This placement is designed to remind us of the motivations and passions to take into the week ahead. Here was pulled Temperance, one of the loveliest cards of the Major Arcana. Temperance is everything that is in the middle, blending elements from a place of very intentional balance. There’s beauty in this moment, but there is also a need for purpose- put yourself in the middle and allow that serene moderation carry you through the week. It’s taxing to maintain this position, but worthwhile to complete the works we set out to do.

Breathe Out~
This placement tells us of the ideas and patterns that we must let go of in order to make the most of our time. The Three of Pentacles was pulled here. This card is indicative of cooperation between yourself and others to complete a goal. This may have been a useful energy in the past, and cooperation is to be valued in general - however, this card warns us to not expect others to be as productive as we want them to be. Simply put, sometimes we must do things for ourselves. This card stands in compliment to Temperance before it, enforcing the message that our motivations this week will have to come from within ourselves with fixated purpose.

good afternoon all you gentlefolks, here’s a three card Sky spread for the week ahead.

🌞
In the Sun position we have the Page of Wands. This position tells us the general theme of the week ahead, and this card is a bright and warm expression. The Page of Wands indicates that we will begin new patterns or projects that may take us out of our comfort level, but will attract us in its newness and challenge.

🌚
In the Moon position we have the Nine of Wands. The Moon placement tells us of the trials and turmoils that will present themselves subtly as the week progresses. The Nine of Wands sticks to the same energetic expression of the earlier card, but at the other end of the spectrum - and it tells us that our tasks will be very difficult indeed and we will have to reach for the stamina it takes to complete them. The attractiveness and charm of our works will fade and it will require an attitude of steel and perseverance to stick to our goals.

🌟
The Star placement is where the advice of the cards lie, the guiding sentiment that will help see us into the week, and here was pulled The Well. This is an addition to the Major Arcana from this deck, one that advises us to reach deep to inner truths and the purposes to our passions. The wisdom here is to not get caught up in the minor details, do not let them distract you and drain you. Instead stay grounded in the purpose of your works this week and your time and efforts will be well spent.

have a lovely week all you beautiful folks 🌹

a very simple reading to come back to, just one card for the week ahead.

The King of Wands. This card is everything that is bright and warm, decisive and dynamic. When it’s pulled, it brings with it an energy of empowerment. All Kings in the deck are leaders, they correspond with the parts of ourselves that take care of the people around us and call out to situations when we must become leaders of those around us. This King however is brilliant, he sees the ideas and the passions of those around him and he guides them to fruition. Take the wisdom of this card with you into the week ahead and use it’s warmth to bless everyone around you.

good morning all you fine gentlefolks 🌹

Just one simple card today, to whisper to us of the week ahead. The Ace of Swords. This card is the truest embodiment of the element of Air, and Air is everything about how we think and how we speak, patterns of communication and the wind in our words. This card calls us to speak in the days ahead, and cautions us that moments lost in silence may never reappear. Say what is on your mind, be emboldened by your ideas, not embittered by regret. The element of Air is always charging forward, changing shape and adapting in freedom and so we should too let our thoughts be free from restrictive prejudices and ideas that no longer serve us.

take this small but mighty wisdom for this week, and speak the things that you may not have the chance to say again. have a most lovely week 💖

good afternoon all you fine gentlefolks. here’s a Sunday spread for you~

🌞
The Seven of Wands. This card represents a challenge that will come up in the week ahead, and it will require you to defend yourself and your ideals. While this challenge can come in many different flavors the universal emphasis of this card is on your own ability to defend yourself. This is not a situation that you can rely on others to help solve, but rather something that you must do yourself. This card is a caution to readiness, and the fiery energy here is one of endurance and stamina. Dig deep within your own well of strength to persevere.

🌚
The 20th card of the Major Arcana, Judgement. The word judgement can be uncomfortable, but we must see past that to digest the wisdom this messenger has for us. This card is more about a reorganization or revitalization of our beliefs and priorities. In the subtle moon position of this spread it tells us that we will have an opportunity to reevaluate our goals and our values. This card calls to us when we need to be inspired or moved by something powerful, when we need a breath of motivation into the patterns in our lives. There will be moments of quiet in your week ahead, use them to softly think about where you are and where you’re going.

🌟
This placement represents the advice the cards have for us, what actions we can best take to make the best of our week and the Nine of Pentacles was pulled here. This card represents soft relaxation and enjoyment, moments spent in luxury and indulging. The message here stands opposed to the radical energy of the Wands cards and the deep philosophical questions of Judgement. Presenting us with a bit of softness and reminding us to not be too hard on ourselves. Find hours this week to do things that you want to do, things that will refresh you from the challenges you face and brighten your perspective in the long run. This lovely card whispers to us that a little break can go a long way when we need to rest, and please don’t forget her advice for you.

have a perfectly lovely day and week ahead, and as always contact me for a private reading if you feel called to. 💖

good afternoon all you pleasant gentlefolks 🌹

here is just one single card, a brief but potent message for the week ahead.

The Hermit, the ninth card of the Major Arcana. The past year of our lives we have undoubtedly experienced more of this card’s energy than what is comfortable for us. The Hermit does indeed reflect a need to withdrawal, to take somber moments of quiet. But the power here of this card, the wisdom is that he is not idle. Other cards are full of powerful direct forward motion, flashy and obvious, but The Hermit is just as busy as those cards. This is not a waiting period that we must endure, this is a season of internal focus in the week ahead. Take stock of your thoughts and feelings, do not waste the moments that have inward value. Seasons come and go, and there will be a time for togetherness in the future but The Hermit reminds us there is purpose to be found in the stillness.

Have a blessed week. ✨

02/14/2021

Good afternoon all you fine and fair gentlefolks. Rather than doing a general reading I set today’s spread with an intention inspired by the holiday, “How can we become better at giving and accepting love?” My hope is that this stays relevant to everyone, no matter what journey they’re on. I used the 2 card Breathe spread as it seemed the best equipped to answer this question. As always the first card is what to Breathe In, what to take into you, and then what to Breathe Out which is what to let go of.

Breathe In
The Queen of Wands. While this particular card is not known to be lovey-dovey by our typical understanding I see the wisdoms she has to offer us. This card is about warmth, about living in each and every moment with mirth and tenderness. Her advice to take in is to accept the moments of warmth that are presented to us, and reflect them back with meaningful intention. The details matter, and the small ways that love is shown to us are perhaps the most important.

Breathe Out
The Ace of Swords. This card represents our intellect, and how we communicate. In contrast to the Queen, who encompasses a softer attitude this card has an edge to it. The meaning here is that we must let go of our perceptions of love, the idea that we have of it, and stop thinking so much about it. When we live too long inside our own headspace, it prevents us from noticing all the little joyous things that are already around us. We must forgo our reliance on words alone to communicate our feelings, we would be better off letting our actions speak for us.

Take these small wisdoms today, and may a warmth and tenderness come to you this week. Have a most lovely day 🌹✨
