Capital Women's Care provides comprehensive, compassionate, individualized OB/GYN care

Our premier group consists of 9 Physicians, 8 Certified Nurse Midwives, 2 Physician Assistants, 2 Nurse Practisioners and a Certified Dietician. Together, we offer you many choices for both general obstetrics and gynecologic care and specialized women’s health care services. The Capital Women’s Care network enables rapid coordination with specialists to address women’s individual medical needs, including second opinions, high-risk pregnancy care, ultrasounds, osteoporosis screening, and specialized surgical procedures.

We’re serving for a cause!
Our Hagerstown office is thrilled to participate in the 32nd Annual Community Free Clinic Potter’s Bowl as part of the server competition! This year, our Capital Women’s Care “Delivery Squad” will be trading our scrubs for aprons to help raise funds for free medical care for uninsured residents of Washington County.
Guests (and supporters like you!) can “tip” their favorite server team — every dollar goes directly to the Community Free Clinic. Help us reach our goal and bring home the title of Champion Servers of Potter’s Bowl 2025!

When the unexpected hits... TEAMWORK kicks in!
Today, our office faced a not-so-glamorous challenge — a surprise toilet overflow that turned our restroom and hallway into a slip-and-slide of chaos!
But did our team panic? Nope.
Did they run the other way? Never.
They grabbed mops, rags, and their can-do attitudes and turned into the Dream Clean Team before the plumber even showed up!
We couldn’t be prouder of the way our staff pulls together — not just when things go smoothly, but especially when they don’t.
Big shoutout to this amazing crew. You all are the real MVPs

👶🛏 October is Safe Sleep Awareness Month!

As your trusted OB/GYN team, we at Capital Women’s Care want to help families give their babies the safest start possible. The ABC’s of Safe Sleep are a simple way to remember:
✨ Alone – baby should sleep in their own sleep space, not in bed with adults or siblings.
✨ Back – always place baby on their back to sleep.
✨ Crib – use a safety-approved crib, bassinet, or play yard with a firm mattress and fitted sheet only.

No blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, or bumpers – just your little one, sleeping soundly and safely. 💙
