Being a business owner is a continuous learning process, sometimes I’m questioning everything!

I do have a 401k because I have to create my own retirement plan because taxes are different.

I have to provide my own health insurance because I’m my own employer.

Having flexibility to be present in my daughter’s lives and making my own schedule is definitely the biggest pro of being a business owner but there are so many other challenges!

I feel like I’m always thinking 10 steps ahead because being your own boss there is always something that needs to be done. Owning a business requires innovation, creativity and authenticity.

Spaology is a huge part of my life and I’m appreciative to everyone who makes it apart of their’s 💕

Ella has been doing lashes for 5 years, she started in the peak of COVID as a way to make some extra money while businesses were closed. What started as a side hustle has turned into a full time career for the passionate esthetician.

Ella treats each client with the utmost care and respect. Every new client will have a thorough consultation, she will discuss what styles will best suit your eye shape and discuss what lengths will be appropriate for your natural lashes to remain healthy and comfortable.

To ensure the best results, we recommend getting fills every 2 weeks, 3 if absolutely necessary. Lashes should be washed everyday with a lash cleanser, which we sell at the shop. Prebooking your appointments is crucial to making sure you can get in, as Ellas schedule fills up very quickly.

We also offer free lash patch testing for those who are sensitive and prone to allergies!

A little late 😅 but Spaology has been in business for 5 years this past June! Still can’t believe this is real 🥰

This wasn’t just me, this was a collective effort. S/O to every person who believed that Brazilian waxing wasn’t taboo and trusted me to wax them! I specifically became an esthetician because I loved getting waxed and when I moved back to this area there wasn’t many options that provided a reasonable price, accommodations or knowledge.

I wanted to provide a space that encourages body positivity, and specialized in different hair/skin types & conditions.

Over time I gained the opportunity to employee other estheticians who also believed and implemented my vision, that is a very fulfilling feeling! S/O to & who go above and beyond for Spaology by providing wonderful services and taking such good care of the clients who trust us with their body & mind!

In reality business owning isn’t just having an LLC and performing a service/providing a product. I’m still learning after 5 years. It’s paying income tax, sale tax, payroll, inventory, business insurance, employee management, customer relations, 24/7 calls/texts, content creating continuous education, cleaning and the list goes on.

There is always this constant pressure for the need to be doing more, the willingness to continue learning & never taking anything for granted regardless of how stressful it can be at times!

I hope to be in business for many more years to come & I am beyond grateful & appreciative for every person who chooses to get services at Spaology! You give me a purpose and the ambition to keep going 💕
