These B2B moms and dads are kicking major butt at parenthood! And man do they make ADORABLE babies. Some babies were a little bigger than others (*ahem Carmine*) and some were born with enough hair that Jackie had to lift it up to make sure she was born with ears (pretty obvious which baby this was 😍). It’s always awesome to get everyone back together for stories, laughs, and snuggles ❤️

👶🛏 October is Safe Sleep Awareness Month!

As your trusted OB/GYN team, we at Capital Women’s Care want to help families give their babies the safest start possible. The ABC’s of Safe Sleep are a simple way to remember:
✨ Alone – baby should sleep in their own sleep space, not in bed with adults or siblings.
✨ Back – always place baby on their back to sleep.
✨ Crib – use a safety-approved crib, bassinet, or play yard with a firm mattress and fitted sheet only.

No blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, or bumpers – just your little one, sleeping soundly and safely. 💙

The E in EDD stands for estimated (due date) for a reason. It’s simply that; an estimation! This is very true for Susan’s Centering Group who not only had babies in their estimated month of September but also in August and October! These parents reunited recently to show off their new additions 😍

Pictured is Charlotte (the August baby therefore oldest and wisest), Ryan (9/2), Elaina (9/4), Chase and Issac (birthday buddies sharing 9/7), Easton (9/13), Haven (9/24), and last but certainly not least was the October baby, Mr. Owen.

Unable to make the party was Felix who was born 9/6 and happened to be the biggest in the group weighing in at 8lbs 7oz on his birthday.

Experiencing group prenatal care is more than just a 9 month journey. As you can see in these pictures, for many groups their journeys have extended much farther! The December 2023 group met up at City Park for Fall Fest earlier this fall and the April 2024 group got together a few weekends ago for some fun at the pumpkin patch! Even our midwife Jackie got in on the fun!

This. This is what Centering is all about. The journey to a healthy baby and lifelong friendships ❤️
