Healthy coping strategies are all around us, oftentimes hiding in plain sight. And they don’t have to cost a thing. They live in simple moments: feeling your feet on the ground, and noticing your breath, stepping outside for a walk and letting nature reset your nervous system, turning on a song that meets you where you are, or reading a line of poetry that puts words to what you couldn’t name. Coping doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive; sometimes it’s about slowing down, tuning in, and letting the everyday moment support us when we need them the most.
