🌼 DAISY Award Winner🌼

We’re proud to recognize Kaitlyn Canby, RN (CC 4 West) as a DAISY Nurse Award recipient at Meritus Health.

Caring for a patient from his first day in the ICU on December 23 through his first radiation treatment, Kaitlyn took the time to build a genuine connection during an incredibly difficult moment. While waiting at the cancer center, a conversation about his love of Christmas inspired Kaitlyn to bring in Christmas lights and a small tree—transforming his room into a space of comfort, warmth, and dignity.

This recognition is based on heartfelt feedback from a patient’s family and reflects the compassion, kindness, and thoughtful care Kaitlyn brings to her patients every day. 💙
