Earlier this month, the King of Rock & Roll himself, Elvis Presley, dropped by to entertain our guests at our summer luau!

Special thanks to the immensely talented Taylor Brown, who delights audiences all over the area with his spot-on Elvis impersonation! With fun dance moves and impressive vocals, Taylor is always a hit with our residents!

Our Activities Team put on one heck of a party, and team members from our parent location Fahrney Keedy even joined in on the fun (limbo activities included!)

Enriching activities like these are so important - not just for our residents, but also for their family members and guests!

We're certainly not against a little cheesy fun here at Coffman Nursing Home! When our Activities team saw the viral cheeseball challenge, they knew they had to give it a try - anything to bring a smile to our residents' faces!

Our friends donned shower caps coated with shaving cream and then sat across the table from one another to wage a friendly battle! It was all about getting as many of those cheeseballs to stick to the shower caps - with plenty of laughs all around!

Whatever fun we have up our sleeve next, we're sure we'll be having a “ball" again soon!

Elvis returns to Coffman TOMORROW! Guests of our residents are invited to join us for our Rock-A-Luau! This summer event features music, food, and of course- FUN!

Guests are encouraged to wear their best Hawaiian / floral prints along with some beautiful, bright colors! We'll have plenty of Hawaiian goodies to get our residents into the spirit.

PLUS, we'll have famed Elvis impersonator Taylor Brown back with us again, singing some of the King's biggest hits!

🎡 Organizing a group trip to the carnival isn't exactly an easy feat - so we brought the carnival to Coffman last month! Our Activities team and our wonderful volunteers put together a day to remember - complete with our own team of clowns, games like ring toss, pin the tail on the donkey, and skee ball, carnival foods, photo booth opportunities that made us laugh til we had tears in our eyes, and more! 🎪

Cassie O'Clair has been named Administrator of Coffman Nursing Home after completing her Administrator in Training (AIT) program and obtaining her Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license! While Cassie is no stranger to employees, residents, and family members alike, this new leadership role will certainly continue driving Coffman further into a strong new future!

We want to extend our gratitude to Marc Goldstein, who stepped into the role of licensed Nursing Home Administrator as a preceptor for Cassie O'Clair last June. While Cassie was working on her Administrator in Training (AIT) duties, Marc worked diligently with our staff to ensure our mission of enriching the lives of seniors was met with care and dignity!

Marc's 40+ years of experience in the senior living industry were a valuable asset to our leadership team, and we are incredibly grateful for all he has done over the past year!

Last week, we announced to our team that Cassie has officially received her Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license and was installed as Coffman's Administrator as of July 25th, 2025.

A big "congratulations!" to Cassie, and another heartfelt "thank you" to Marc for his service to our community!
