A heartfelt thank you to the Williamsport Lions Club for their generous $500 donation to Hospice of Washington County in support of Doey’s House — the only inpatient hospice unit serving our community. The Williamsport Lions Club is made up of local business professionals and community leaders dedicated to enriching the lives of their neighbors. Since 1945, the club has supported the Williamsport community through service projects, annual events, and fundraisers that help make the area a better place to live, work, learn, and play. Please join us in thanking the Lions Club for their compassion, generosity, and commitment to caring for others in our community.

This Memorial Day, Hospice of Washington County proudly honors the brave men and women who gave so much in service to our country. At Doey's House — the only inpatient hospice house in our community — families and friends can create a lasting tribute through a special plaque displayed outside our veteran patient rooms. With a $1,000 donation supporting compassionate end-of-life care, you can honor a beloved veteran by adding their name to this meaningful legacy of remembrance, dignity, and gratitude. Your gift not only celebrates a life of service this Memorial Day, but also helps provide comfort and peace to patients and families in our community when they need it most.
