We are to welcome Parkway Neuroscience & Spine Institute as part of our team! They recently joined us as WellSpan Parkway Neuroscience & Spine expanding access to expert care in Franklin County and Northern Maryland.

A letter from Dr. Neil O'Malley to all Parkway followers:

Good Morning,

We are please to announce that we at THE Parkway Neuroscience and Spine Institute (PNSI) are open to care for you in our Hagerstown office and Chambersburg office. We are open for face to face visits as well as Telehealth visits via video chat.
We are utilizing safe practices to see our patients. Beginning in the last week of March, we have been screening patients at the door and allowing minimal personnel into the office. We have separated our appointment times to allow for social distancing. We want to guarantee as much as we can, the safety of our patients and our staff.
As we are not dealing directly with COVID 19 patients, it is safer to have patients with back and neck pain or other neurologic issues, treated here as opposed to an emergency room or urgent care clinic where there is a greater likelihood of a COVID 19 exposure.

Many times, same day appointments are available.

Parkway Neuroscience and Spine Institute is committed to your safety and continuing to provide the highest quality care to our patients. In compliance with Governor Hogan’s order, we will continue to provide healthcare to our community. Our services can help to alleviate strain on emergency room facilities, urgent care centers and primary care providers during this difficult time. We will continue to treat musculoskeletal pain and neurological issues here at Parkway Neuroscience and Spine Institute and Parkway Physical Therapy, prioritizing the safety of our patients and staff.

> Parkway is taking extra steps to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
> All patients are screened upon entering the building with COVID-19 screening questions and a temperature check.
> All employees are also screened with a temperature check and screening questions upon reporting to work each day.
> We ask that no visitors accompany the patient to their appointment. We ask that anyone with you wait in their car, but they may leave a contact cell number in the case of emergency.
> Care is provided to each patient in a private treatment room, which is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between each patient.
> Patients are now able to schedule their appointment via a Telehealth visit with their provider.

We look forward to continuing to serve you and will be continuously seeking to provide the safest environment possible as the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve.
