Even in our world with a wealth of information readily available at our fingertips, there are still people who say that a80rtion until the moment of birth doesn't happen in the United States. 🤯
We've heard pro-choice supporters will adamantly say, "that [late term a80rtion] doesn't happen!" or "no woman would a80rt her baby in the third trimester."
But there ARE at least 9 states + the District of Columbia that have zero restrictions on a80rtion, based on gestation or circumstances of the mother. This means that a woman could choose to a80rt her child mere days before she gives birth.
Why would states have specific laws that nobody in their jurisdiction cared about or would seek to exercise the right to?
There are physician who specialize in, client stories that have testified, and companies that will pay for a80rtion at any time (even in the third trimester) for any reason.
