We are emerging from the radiant energies of the Lion’s Gate and into a sacred corridor of transformation. While the Ancient Egyptians may not have called this season the Lion’s Gate, it is astrologically relevant for the times we are in. The symbolism of the Lion remains deeply resonant: in Egypt, lions and lioness deities such as Sekhmet embodied fierce protection, solar power, and the cosmic gateway of renewal; in scripture, the Lion of Judah speaks of strength and triumph, and the Lion of Zion of liberation and divine authority. Together these images remind us that this Lion’s Gate heralds a profoundly 𝘣𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 time of courage, redemption, and transformation.

In addition, this past Friday was the Feast of the Assumption of Mary—a sacred day in the Christian tradition that honors her being taken, body and soul, into heavenly glory. It is a reminder of the Divine Mother’s ascent and promise of renewal, and a celebration of the Divine Feminine archetype itself—Mary as Queen of Heaven embodying purity, compassion, and the eternal bridge between earth and the celestial realms. Between now and September 29th, we also enter Archangel Michael’s Lent—a time of purification, courage, and spiritual refinement.

This year can be seen as a 𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗹—a practice run for something much greater to come. The months ahead invite us to test, refine, and prepare for the extraordinary cosmic “liftoff” on the horizon. This is a time to observe life from the eagle’s perch, prune what no longer serves, and align with sovereignty, empowerment, and love.
