The relentless bits of news, information, and entertainment can sweep us into a frenzied river, scattering our attention, rhythm, and perspective. At the same time, there is a Real River pouring through us in the graceful undulations of pure Life. We CAN disengage from the frenzy. We CAN sink into something that nourishes us, sustains us, and will never fail us. I’m grateful to be in a body of work that isn’t work at all, but a constant return to the endless River of Life in my body, perceptions and awareness. May this breath, right now, drop you softly into that restorative flow moving inside of you right now!. 🌟.

WHY do we spend precious time in the Retreats refining our relationship with Life, when we could be learning a million new ‘moves’ of the bodywork? Because ALL of who we are shows up in the body, and the body doesn’t lie. Our unconscious and subconscious physical / emotional / mental patterning, prejudices, habits, withholdings, beliefs and more are present in every moment of our lives. When we begin to refine our navigation and resonance, into more harmony with the ancient principles of Life Itself, we begin to meet ourselves, our clients and the world FROM a different place. We change HOW we perceive and therefore WHAT we perceive. It is not about ‘fixing’ anything, but rather about discovering what lies beyond the neural pathways we have forged. Most people think: “If it looks like Lomi Lomi, moves like Lomi Lomi, and seems like Lomi Lomi - then it must be Lomi Lomi!” Nothing could be further from the truth. The name may be similar, but in ancient times there were many different ‘streams’ of the work - some chiropractic in nature, some to do with pregnancy and childbirth, some combined with lā’au lapa’au (herbal medicine), and some sourced in lua - the Hawaiian Martial Art - which would train students how to repair broken bones (among many others!) Today there are many different interpretations - even stemming from the same teacher. The form that I carry has its foundation below the layers of our personality, knowledge base, belief systems, social mores, and culture. Ke Ala Hõkũ - The Pathway to The Stars - invites us to dive into an experiential journey, opening forgotten pathways from the Life Force / Spirit Force in the body which does not carry belief or cultural overlay. It is pure Life. In this container, we access new kaona (layers) of perception, restoration and identity. In these sessions, it is the Resonant Field that delivers the touch - the Field from which everything springs.
