ANGER
When your anger lasts for extended periods of time, it becomes more difficult to cope with the little triggers in your life and it becomes harder to de-stress and regulate.
This can affect your whole day and control many aspects of your life. It can be hard to focus on tasks, accomplish projects or have healthy relationships. Anger also causes feelings like guilt, remorse and shame.
If you’re angry and constantly stressed, it’s also likely that you’ll feel unable to relax and have fun — which is important for your well being.
Excessive anger also puts your physical well being at risk. anger can cause headaches, migraines, chest pains, aches and more. Over the long term, anger issues can further complicate pre-existing health conditions. It can also put you at risk for hypertension, high blood pressure, depression, and cardiovascular issues.
Mindfulness techniques are extremely helpful in dealing with anger.
