✨ Employee Spotlight: Cayande Beaty ✨

This January, we’re proud to recognize Cayande Beaty, Director of Recreation and Youth Engagement for our Dreamers Program. With over 15 years at Legacy, Cayande has dedicated his career to helping youth build confidence, creativity, and real-world skills that support lasting positive change.

Our Dreamers program is a S.T.E.A.M.-based initiative for youth in our residential programs that goes beyond education- empowering young people with hands-on experience in design, manufacturing, marketing, and entrepreneurship using industry-standard tools.

Thank you, Cayande, for your leadership, vision, and commitment to shaping the next generation of leaders. 💜

Innovation in Crisis Response Is Here 🚐

Legacy is proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Van Doit to bring our vision of specialized crisis response vehicles to life. These custom-built vans—affectionately called Socialances (social services ambulances)—are purpose-designed to support individuals experiencing behavioral health emergencies.

Unlike traditional ambulances, our Socialances serve as mobile hubs of care, staffed by dedicated social workers who provide:

✨ On-the-spot crisis intervention and stabilization
✨ Referrals and connections to ongoing services and supports

By meeting individuals directly in their homes and communities, this initiative bridges a long-standing gap for those who may never seek help through traditional emergency routes. It allows us to deliver compassionate, immediate, whole-person care in the moments people need it most.
