Dementia, stroke, or brain injury… I love all things neuro! Many people don’t realize speech therapists are uniquely qualified to address cognitive, communicative, and swallowing functions! Do you know someone who could benefit from speech therapy?

Dementia can be overwhelming. I work with patients and their families to address deficits in memory, communication, cognitive functioning, and eating. Helping someone with dementia is more than games, exercises and routines… it’s getting to know their stories. Finding ways to make them smile, and facilitate participation in their day-to-day life.

Hello and welcome! My name is Sami and I am a Speech Language Pathologist. My private practice, Mindful Origins Speech Therapy LLC, focuses on helping children and adults get the MOST out of their life. Due to my diverse special interests and unique clinical experience I am able to treat a large variety of patient populations. The great thing about private practice is no referral needed! Eventually I will have my own office space, but for now I am offering in-home and virtual therapy sessions. Alternatively, I have also been meeting patient's at the Muskego public library. I look forward to chatting with you more!
