What is a Doula? A Doula is a non-medical, trained professional who supports women and their families through pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. A doula brings added emotional support, helps provide you with information to make informed decisions and can assist with physical comfort measures. A doula's priority is to serve the family, helping them navigate the many options available, so that they can determine the best choices for the mother, her labor, and their family. With over 10 years of working with families, I have a wide variety of birth experiences. I bring reliable care to women and their families through emotional, informational, and physical support. I have a great fascination with and knowledge in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care which ignites my desire to help women know what options they have and help you make the best decision for your family. I quickly adapt to situations which helps me respond and support you as you need in each moment. Jennifer is certified for birth, postpartum and bereavement doula. She lives in Baltimore County, Maryland with her husband and their two children; an eight year old son and 5 year old daughter. Website coming soon!
