The hardest part of being a doula is saying goodbye to my clients.

When I first became a doula I was told not to get attached but screw that. My clients often become my friends and, on rare occasions, like family to me.

I was with the S family for a year so you best believe we quickly became close. I enjoyed watching the girls grow up and helping mama (and daddy) along the way.

It should say a “Doulas nightly brew” because we need all the caffeine we can get for overnights!

And let’s face it, a doula doesn’t actually have business hours. We just never stop working!
