My weight loss journey was so much more than my physical appearance. It was spiritual, it was mental, it was pain, it was grief, it was betrayal, it was a lot. I’m sure some of you can relate. When I took this journey, I knew I couldn’t do it alone. I had to employ help.
1. God- I needed the Holy Spirit for strength and
courage. I needed the Holy Spirit to heal me
internally.
2. Support system- I need them for accountability and motivation for my days of weakness and temptation.
3. Plan- One who fails to plan, plans to fail.
4. Medication- It’s simple, I love food and had a horrible relationship with it😫. I had to suppress my appetite😳.
5. Physical activity- I needed to gain my strength back and change my lifestyle so the gym was necessary.
6. Zumba- mental health maintenance.
7. Determination- I was determined to be fine😂😂.
8. Perseverance- I had to shift my mindset concerning food and unhealthy habits. I couldn't give up, failure wasn't an option.
