Texas Elite Therapy currently services Lavaca Medical Center, Yoakum Community Hospital and Schulenburg Family, Fitness and Rehab. They are providing services for outpatient adults and pediatrics, hospital inpatients, and performing Modified Barium Swallow studies with the radiologist at YCH and LMC. Texas Elite also provides outpatient services for adults and pediatrics at Schulenburg Family, Fitness and Rehab. Texas Elite also offers Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow (FEES) at YCH and Schulenburg Family Fitness and Rehab Center as an outpatient service.

Today we recognize and celebrate the dedicated physicians we are honored to work alongside across all of our facilities.

National Doctors’ Day is observed each year on March 30 to honor the skill, compassion, and commitment physicians bring to patient care every single day.

In speech therapy, collaboration with physicians is essential. We work closely with pediatricians, ENTs, neurologists, physiatrists, primary care providers, and many other specialists to ensure patients receive comprehensive, coordinated care.

This team-based approach helps ensure our patients receive the highest quality care possible — addressing not just symptoms, but the whole person.

Oral motor skills are about so much more than people realize! 👄✨

In speech therapy, we help children build the small but powerful skills that support safe eating and clear speech — from lip closure and tongue control to chewing with back teeth and coordinating all the muscles that make it happen. Even the skills that aren’t talked about often can make a big difference in a child’s daily life.
