Business Member Spotlight- Hamburg Family Eye Care

🌟Doctors John and Lori Smith are a husband and wife optometry team who provide comprehensive vision care for the entire family. The doctors met at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) of Salus University in Philadelphia, PA, where they received their Doctor of Optometry degrees. Both doctors are members of the American Optometric Association, the Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and the Berks County Optometric Association.

Dr. John R. Smith, O.D., M.S., earned his biology degree from SUNY Albany and a Master’s in Low Vision Rehabilitation from PCO. He specializes in contact lenses, orthokeratology, laser surgery follow-up care, low vision, and glaucoma management, and is a member of the National Glaucoma Society.

Dr. Lori J. Smith, O.D., earned her biology degree from Penn State and completed additional training in pediatrics and vision therapy at PCO. She specializes in learning-related vision issues and concussion-related vision problems, and is a member of COVD.

Although we are a small town family optometric practice, we provide advanced eye care close to home. We have the latest technologies needed for diagnosing eye disease. We offer treatment for eye disease and eye emergencies and we carry a wide selection of frames and contact lenses. Our goal is that when you leave our office, your vision should be better and more comfortable than when you came!

❄️ ATTENTION: If you will be at our office in the next few days, we advise you to walk VERY CAREFULLY in the parking lot and on the sidewalks surrounding us. Snow has been melting off of our roof, but then re-freezing on our walkways. We are working very hard to maintain it, however, caution is advised regardless. Please stay safe! ❄️
