Are you ready to see yourself through the lens of the Five Wisdom Energies? It’s important to remember that we have a mix of all of them. These descriptions give their traditional name in Sanskrit, their essence, color, unique wisdom quality, confused or neurotic quality, intensified emotion, element, sense perception, and season. In reading the following Five Wisdom Energies, which ones seem familiar to you? Foreign to you? Attractive to you? Threatening to you?
Buddha: Spacious White Energy
The buddha wisdom is all-encompassing space, a quality of completely open potential which accommodates everything. It radiates a white energy, spacious and peaceful. It is the foundation, the basic space or environment for the other energies. In itself, it has an ungraspable quality. People with buddha energy are contemplative, receptive, easy going, simple, and content with just being. They have a sedate, solid quality. They prefer that nothing is happening: have no personal agenda, don’t pick and choose, and don’t become reactive.
In their confusion or neurosis, they are solidly immobile and dense: numb, paralyzed, blind, deaf, and dumb, dull, spaced-out, disinterested, lazy, humorless, stubborn, and insensitive. They want to be left alone, not bothered. They are afraid to stand out and want to vanish into space. They don’t want to do anything so they are busy resisting all of the time. They take the path of least effort.
Buddha is associated with the element of space. It does not have a sense perception or season.
