Shannon Herr LMHC CASAC I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor(LMHC) and Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) providing private counseling services in Orchard Park, NY. I have over 20 years experience providing individual, family, and couples counseling to adults and adolescents (13+) who are facing emotional challenges and hardships in life. * Every person is different and responds differently to various types of therapy. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy(DBT) in addition to a variety of therapeutic modalities. *I am experienced in Stress Management, Divorce & Separation, Marital & Relationship Issues, Anxiety, Depression, Mood Disorders, Adjustment Disorders, Job Stress, Retirement Stressors, Low Self-Esteem, Personality Disorders, PTSD/Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Trauma, Women's Issues, Addiction, Behavior Problems, and Parent-Child Conflict. *I am currently accepting new clients and I am available for appointments on days, evenings, and Saturdays. *I am also available for presentations and workshops on a variety of Mental Health, Addiction, Stress Management, and Behavior Management topics.
