Effective immediately, we’re collecting food and hygiene items for distribution to patients and their loved ones in need due to the possible halt in SNAP benefits in November.

Nonperishable food:
✅ Canned goods (soups, beans, vegetables, meat)
✅ Whole grains (oats, quinoa, rice, pasta)
✅ Cereals
✅ Nut butter and granola bars
✅ Shelf-stable milk
✅ Jars of pasta and pizza sauce
✅ “Meals for one” (tuna, instant ramen, box mac and cheese, Chef Boyardee, etc.)
✅ Baby food and formula

Hygiene items:
✅ Bar soap and body wash
✅ Face wash
✅ Shampoo and conditioner
✅ Razors and shaving cream
✅ Toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, and mouthwash
✅ Deodorant
✅ Menstrual products (pads, tampons)
✅ Diapers
✅ Travel-sized hand sanitizer

Other items:
✅ Grocery store gift cards (Stop & Shop, ShopRite, Aldi, etc.)

From now until November 15, items can be dropped off at our health centers during regular business hours:

Today is , commemorating the anniversary of the first public demonstration by people in the United States. On October 26, 1996, intersex activists and their trans allies came together to protest for the right to make their own choices about their bodies. Intersex Awareness Day honors a crucial moment for intersex visibility and advocacy through action, celebration, and solidarity for intersex human rights globally. ⁠

Medically unnecessary, nonconsensual surgeries on intersex youth continue to this day, despite opposition from health care and human rights groups. This is an unacceptable violation of human rights. Intersex people deserve autonomy over their bodies. ⁠

We stand united with intersex people now and always. 💛💜⁠
