Founded by a Qualified Behaviorist and Autism mom, Jayvyn's Journey provides recreation, social skills, life skills, peer interaction and family support for teens and young adults with Autism.

Jayvyn’s Journey LLC is expanding! 💙

We are proud to announce the upcoming opening of a Teen Enriched Life Skills & Social Recreation Center designed specifically for teens with autism and developmental differences. Accepting ages 13-18.

This new space will provide teens with a safe, supportive environment where they can build confidence, strengthen social skills, and connect with peers while developing important life skills.

Our center will offer:
🌱 Life skills enrichment
🎨 Arts, crafts, and creative expression
🤝 Social interaction and teamwork
🎲 Group games and peer engagement
🧠 Confidence building and independence development

As a mother raising children with autism, creating opportunities like this has always been deeply personal to me. Our teens deserve spaces where they feel accepted, supported, and empowered to grow.

📍 Coming in April to Hamden, Connecticut

⚠️ Limited spots will be available. Families are encouraged to register early once enrollment opens.

I am looking to hire one part time AND one per diem caregiver who is available for before and after school care for my teenage son with special needs in West Haven.

✔️ Must Have experience with teens with Autism
✔️ Must have experience and comfortable with behavior intervention
✔️ Great personality, passionate, caring and patient
✔️ PMT or Assist Trained
✔️ Med Certified -preferred but not required
✔️ CPR and First Aid trained
✔️ Available Mon-Fri (for part time)
✔️ on call (per diem staff)
✔️Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
