Are you a parent with a child who has ADHD?
Do you ever feel lost or confused as a parent since learning of your child’s ADHD? Do you ever feel stressed? Are you worried you don’t know how to advocate for your child in school? Do you debate whether medication is right for your child or not? Do you ever feel alone?
If you said yes to ONE of these, then this support group is designed for YOU.
CT Psychiatric and Wellness Center is excited to offer a Parent Support Group for parents with children who have been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD). The hour-long support group will meet one day per week for five weeks. The group will be run by Holly Montpelier, Jesse Montalvo, and Tamika Baines, all of who are clinicians in their final year of master’s level training.
The Parent Support Group will encourage parents to discuss common issues, concerns, or challenges that they may be experiencing. Clinical staff will provide group therapy, education, resource tools, and skills in an atmosphere that is conducive to support healing and enhance effective communication with the child and identify strengths and other areas of development.
The 5 Week Parent Support Group will begin on Wednesday, November 6th 2019 at 5pm. Limited Space Available.
Total cost for all 5 session is 100$. Sliding Scale is available.
