Prior to the pandemic, one of the things we enjoyed most was hosting open-house events for our pediatric patients—creating space to talk about careers, leadership, creativity, and healthy screen habits beyond the exam room.
I’m happy to share that we’re bringing these gatherings back.

We’re hosting a Paint Night for our current patients ages 10–14—an evening designed to promote in-person socialization, creativity, and the many positive cognitive and emotional benefits of painting. In a world dominated by screens, giving kids a chance to connect, create, and be present feels more important than ever. Did you know that diabetes is a leading cause of vision loss in adults? Diabetic eye disease can develop silently, often without symptoms until damage is done. Timely diagnosis and treatment are key to preventing serious vision damage.

What to watch for:
- Blurry vision
- Dark spots or floaters
- Difficulty seeing at night

Take action:
- Schedule a comprehensive dilated eye exam at least once a year
