🌧️ March Showers Bring… SPEECH POWER! 🌈

Rainy days are PERFECT for building speech and language skills at home!

Try this easy “Rainy Day Talk” game:

☔ I Spy – Rain Edition

“I spy something that is WET!”

“I spy something you wear in the rain!”

🌧️ Sound Hunt:

Practice /r/ words: rain, rainbow, red, raincoat

Practice /sh/ words: shower, shoes, splash

💬 Build a Sentence:

“The rain is ____.”

“I see a ____ in the puddle.”

👂 Bonus Tip:

Listen for rain sounds and describe them! Is it loud? Soft? Dripping? Splashing?

Rainy days = cozy days + extra talking time 💙

Looks like winter decided is going to show off this weekend! While the snow is falling and the wind is howling, it’s the perfect time to sneak in some speech practice at home.

Try this stormy fun:

☃️ Say “snow, slide, sled, storm” 5 times fast

❄️ Describe what you see outside using BIG words

🧤 Practice “s” and “sh” sounds with snow, scarf, shovel

A little winter magic makes speech practice even more fun!
