✨ Self-Care & Support at Its Finest! 💅
Today, Peer Recovery at Creative Change Counseling held our first FREE Nail Expo & Manicure Event for the Recovery Community, led by long-time nail artist, beauty queen, and PEER Specialist Linda Boychuck🌟, along with (literally just the help today 🥴), our Director of Peer Recovery Stacy Alice. 💕

For many, self-care can sometimes feel out of reach, but today proved how meaningful even a 🤏🏻 small act of kindness can be. 🫶🏻

This wasn’t just about nails, it was about healing, connection, and lifting each other 🆙.
Linda brought her heart, her talent, and her love for helping others feel seen, pampered and most importantly valued. 💗

Here at the Mercer County PEER Recovery Center, 🗯️ we believe in “giving back what was so freely given to many of us”…

And that is what PEER support is all about.💜💟

Join us on August 28th from 5:30 to 8 PM at Veterans Park North for the 10th Annual International Overdose Awareness Day Event! 🌟

This event, co-sponsored by Hamilton Township and local organizations such as the Mercer Council on Alcoholism and Drug Addiction, the Prevention Coalition of Mercer County, the Mercer Council, and the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office, will offer vital resources on health, treatment, and support. Enjoy a program filled with activities, a memorial section, and a candlelight vigil. Let’s come together in remembrance and hope. 💜
