The Nu.Q Vet Cancer Test is available at our practice! We recommend it for senior dogs 7 years and older and especially recommend it for Golden Retrievers who unfortunately are at a high risk for hemangiosarcoma, a life threatening cancer.

FWP biologists are collecting wings from hunter-harvested grouse (all species) and Hungarian partridge across Region 3 this fall. Wing collection barrels will be placed in the following locations for voluntary submission throughout the mountain grouse hunting season:

--> Region 3 HQ in Bozeman
--> Townsend area field office
--> Livingston area field office
--> Helena area resource office
--> Butte area resource office
--> Dillon area field office

If hunters pass by a wing barrel while traveling from a hunt, please put one wing from each harvested bird (from Region 3 only) into the barrel. Wings can also be turned into area wildlife staff or game wardens. Wings will be used to identify birds by species and age class (juvenile or adult). This information allows biologists to monitor juvenile recruitment.

We got to meet sweet Cheeto yesterday and he is a LOVE who needs to find the right family. We recommend an active family with middle school aged kids or older as he is exuberant and might knock down younger kiddos. He is DEAF but he is very attentive and learning hand signals.
