I wanted to make a little post about me and my "why" I got into this career.
I am first and foremost, a mother and a wife. My husband and I have been together 17 years! Time flies! We have one little boy who is now 10 years old, named Malachi. He was one of the most kind and empathetic little boys I've ever met. ❤️ We have a small farm with one dog, one cat, two emu's, four goats, and I've lost count on the number of chickens because they keep multiplying themselves. We are also proud beekeepers and have fish and canaries inside. Needless to say, we have a busy life!
And now my "why". In 2019 I had some thing happen that caused half of my body to go numb. I still don't know what caused it, but I knew it was related to migraines that I suffer from as this is one of my symptoms. But usually that symptom would only come up when in an active migraine so when it came up and was 24/7 I knew something was wrong. I went to a neurologist, and they couldn't figure out why. So someone suggested to me that I try craniosacral. Within three visits the feeling was gone. At the time I thought to myself what amazing gift to be able to help someone like that. I then watched a close friend of mine, become a massage therapist, and then get her certificates to be a craniosacral specialist. She is an amazing healer and such an inspiration. So I decided that I wanted to go into this career so that I could help others like myself find freedom from chronic pain or unexplainable health issues. I have only been in business since December, but have already been blessed enough to help people on their healing journeys. In two weeks, I leave to Seattle to add craniosacral to my list of modalities. I have already been able to help people heal through traditional Massage and Ashiatsu, and I'm so excited to add this new edition, so that I can help as many people as possible. 💙
