During this Covid-19 pandemic, there is a new normal. People are trapped at home wondering what to do and how to handle all of this. As funeral professionals, it is our job to help people cope with their fears and worries.
Like first responders and healthcare workers, funeral professionals are very familiar with working in crisis situations and helping people create order out of chaos and find some calm when there is turbulence.
With all the things we’re hearing about a “new normal”, you may not realize that few other professionals are as accustomed as we are at helping people face their “new normal”. Please reach out to us if you’re having difficulties due to stress, if you’re a caregiver or even if you’re alone and need a friend. If we cannot answer a question, we will do our best to point you in the right direction.
I am sharing this with you today because of an increase in questions we have been receiving about advance funeral planning. It is possible to do this from the safety and privacy of your home. You can call or message us any time you are ready and we can walk you through the process. There is no cost for this service and no obligation to utilize our funeral home in the future.
No one wants to think about the possibility of losing a loved one but, for some people, being prepared for what may come gives them a small sense of control in a chaotic world.
If you have questions, concerns, or would like more information, please feel free to reach out. Having your questions answered could lessen your fears and give you peace of mind. Planning ahead does not mean that you’re planning to die.
