Come enjoy a day in the dirt!

McPherson’s Annual community Potato Dig Day
Location 491 Willoughby Lane, Stevensville.

Saturday, October 11, 2025
10am - until we're finished usually 1 pm (no early birds please it makes it hard for us to get the equipment through)
We planted two times as many as last year so there will be plenty!

Please join us as we harvest our potatoes; If you know of an organization or individuals who need potatoes please invite them.

Please bring boxes, burlap sacks or paper sacks for your own. Buckets or milk crates are great for harvesting in (They do not store well in plastic) We will have a truck / pallets set up in the field to put potatoes in for donation.

Picking advice
Green Potatoes--please do not put any potatoes that have green on them in the donation truck—they break down first and do not store.
Plan on weather—we will pick regardless of weather conditions.
Concession stand--We will be having a concession stand with hot chocolate and donuts, the proceeds go to next year’s expenses.

Secure your cell phones—they are hard to locate in a field of dirt.
Bring your kids—it is a great time.
Come even if you do not really need or want potatoes—this is fun and easy way to serve others. Besides everyone needs a few potatoes for the winter!

Please leave dogs in your vehicles or at home.
Location
About 1.3 miles up Willoughby Lane in Stevensville, turn south directly across from a field full of round bales of hay.

Receiving a MineShaft spice cake and mango smoothie unexpectedly at work is a heartwarming reminder that you're valued and cared for. Thanks to Barefoot Basics biggest supporter!

I haven't done a foot zone session at a private residence in a long time. Today, the scenery and breeze were delightful.
