DIAPER DRIVE for WIC and the Sapphire Early Leaning Center❣️👶🏼 If you have diaper donations, feel free to bring them to the clinic Monday-Wednesday 9 am-5 pm or you can drop off cash/check donation. There is a PayPal option “Sapphire Early Learning Center” for easy quick donations. Donations are eligible for nonprofit tax deduction. Parents all know diaper expenses add up and what a blessing to be given free diapers!

That I may remain calm through the storms of life
Regardless of the chaos surrounding me

Hope visited me
And it reminded me
That better times lay ahead
And it would always be there to guide and uplift me

Humility visited me
And it reminded me
That I may achieve it
Not by trying to shrink myself and make myself less
But by focusing on serving the world and uplifting those around me

Kindness visited me
And it reminded me
To be more gentle, forgiving and compassionate toward myself
And those surrounding me

Confidence visited me
And it reminded me
To not conceal or suppress my gifts and talents
In order to make others feel more comfortable
But to embrace what makes me me

Focus visited me
And it reminded me
That other people’s insecurities and judgements about me
Are not my problem
And I should redirect my attention
From others back to me

Freedom visited me
And it reminded me
That no one has control over my mindset, thoughts and wellbeing
But me

And love visited me
And it reminded me
That I need not search for it in others
As it lies within me.

Consider giving to a good cause on this Giving Tuesday. I’m on the board of the Sapphire Early Learning Center in Stevensville which does such great work in helping infants to toddlers have loving and educational support in their growth and development. Consider donating for the parents who want to make Christmas special but have to struggle with inflation and financial obstacles❣️ I remember being a single mom in residency training and paying $900 a month so my kids would have a safe, fun, educational place to be, before and after school. It was hard financially to make it all work. Donations can be accepted at our clinic today or any day in December. Whatever you lend your heart or money to, may you be blessed 😇

We had an amazing time in Africa on our medical missions. We were often on the bus by 7 am and didn’t get back to the hotel until 7 pm at night. Then we would eat dinner and spend hours prepping the supplies for the next day. We were constantly hot and dripping with sweat. We met so many beautiful people that worked with us and kindhearted patients that we worked for; they all showed us great examples of faith, strength, love and the deepest meanings of life. In 3 days of clinic, with 8 medical providers and many nurses, one pharmacist and MANY helpers, we saw over 1200 people❣️ We visited schools and prisons with donations and provisions; we were treated very kindly. At the schools, the kids wanted to feel our hair as it is so different from theirs. The prisoners have no hygiene provisions, even toilet paper or soap unless it is donated so that is what we gave them in addition to medical supplies and medications. This is why I love this work, I am reminded of what is truly important and can live my life with more meaning going back home. Thank you for all your love and support!

Dr. Angela Haugo, Adriann Monson, Medical Assistant, and Jean Higgins-Peretto, Physician Assistant at Sapphire Health, are traveling to Kenya for a rural medical mission trip in June and WOULD LOVE YOUR SUPPORT!

Money donations can be brought to our clinic and will go toward medications generously supplied by our local BITTERROOT DRUG 💊.
Donated items can be brought to the clinic or the donation boxes at: Bitterroot Drug, Healthcare Providers Pharmacy, Corvallis Drug- THANK YOU!

Here is a list of supplies we will be bringing and we welcome ALL gently used braces and glasses:
Glasses (old prescription glasses, reading glasses) 🤓
Joint braces (wrist, knee, ankle, shoulder sling, etc) 🦵
Toothpaste, toothbrush 🪥
Bandage material, bandaids, coban wrap 🩹
Topical ointments (hydrocortisone, topical antibiotic ointment, Benadryl cream) ❤️‍🩹
Antihistamines (Claritin, Zyrtec, Benadryl) 🤧
Antacids, Pepcid, Prilosec (ompeprazole) 🥴
Vitamins (preferably unopened) - multiple vitamins, vit C, etc 🫶
Medical gloves 🧤
Tennis balls 🎾 , deflated soccer balls ⚽️

Mother. One word, a myriad meanings…

To mother is not just to create life, it is to sustain life, to save life, to enrich life, to nurture life, to protect and shelter that life. It is complicated, eternal, instinctive and ancient.

Not all mothers are mothers and that statement works both ways.
Some mothers are unable to nurture the child they have for many heartbreaking reasons and some mothers would love nothing more than to have this child they so long for. So they walk through this life nurturing and sharing that motherly love with whomever needs it. They are mothers without children of their own. But mothers they very much are.

If you are a mother in the traditional sense today, be loved. You are someone’s whole world, what a thing.

If you are without your own mother today, be loved. Just as she spent her entire life hoping you would. She lived for your happiness, let her see it if you can.

If you are a mother without children today, be loved. You deserve this more than we know and we see your brave heart opening still to let in those who need.

If you are someone who chose to love another’s child today, be loved. This world exists more beautifully because of your selfless and boundless light.

If you have never known a mother’s love, be the start of it, make it anew. And show the world what it should look like. The legacy you leave will change history.

Find a way today, if you can, to celebrate ‘creation’.
To celebrate your existence, to celebrate love itself.

Mother, one word, a myriad meanings…
complicated, eternal, primal, and without us, there would be nothing.

We can love and cheer on others, but we aren’t in the driver’s seat of anyone but ourselves 😉

You cannot save anyone. You can be present with them, offer your groundedness, your sanity, your peace. You can even share your path with them, offer your perspective.
