You can now register your Kroger Community Rewards to benefit Kairo’s Kids! A percentage of all eligible sales made at Cincinnati area Kroger’s (covering parts of Ohio, Indiana, & Kentucky) will be donated to our organization, helping to provide free adaptive toys to disabled kids in need.

To register, log into your Kroger Plus account, go to rewards > community rewards > search for organization > search for Kairo’s Kids (or enter our organization # “SJ907”).

Thank you to everyone who showed up to support our fundraiser on Saturday. Our supporters brought in over $300 in sales to Chipotle during our 4 hour window. Collectively, Kairo’s Kids earned total of $182.73 (a combination of our portion of the Chipotle sales plus cash donations). 👏🏼

If you’re local, come out and support Kairo’s Kids at Bridgewater Falls Chipotle on Saturday September 6 from 4-8. 25% of all sales will be donated to Kairo’s Kids to help provide adaptive toys to disabled kids in need. You must show the flyer at the register or use the code if ordering online for it to count.

Look at all these accessible toys off to their new homes today! We are blessed to be able to touch as many lives as we have. But we still need your help! We have about 38 kids remaining on the waitlist and we used the last of our packing tape packaging these orders. We are also low on AA batteries and monojack cables.

✨Setting the Record Straight ✨

Hi everyone!
I wanted to take a moment to clarify something important.

Recently, we discovered that a for-profit business has copied significant portions of our original Toy Application and Liability Release, nearly word for word, and is now using them on their own website.

They have also modeled some parts of their toy application after ours, using the same unique phrasing for intake questions.

We’re staying strong and protecting what Kairo’s Kids stands for—free and sustainable access for kids who need it most.

To be clear:
✅ Kairo’s Kids is an independent, registered nonprofit.
✅ We provide our toys free of charge to disabled children and the caregivers and professionals who support them to promote access across all settings.
✅ We have no affiliation with this business.
✅ We do not sell toys for profit.
✅ With Kairo’s Kids, you may wait, but you will never pay.

We’ve taken appropriate steps to protect our original materials, including sending formal copyright infringement notices. We’re sharing this so that you, the community who supports us, know exactly that our mission remains rooted in sustainability, accessibility, and giving freely.

Have a child that’s outgrown their Linkimals?

We can put them to good use!

Kairo’s Kids is a non-profit that makes play more accessible to kids with disabilities.

Many times, these means altering toys by a method known as “switch adapting” so that the toy can be turned on using a larger external button instead of the toy’s original smaller or harder to access buttons.

The Fisher Price Linkimal line is particularly great for switch adapting because they pair up with one another, meaning a disabled child can access any toy from the Linkimal line just by owning one switch adapted Linkimal.

Kairo’s Kids has already provided accessible toys to more than 100 children both locally and nationwide and currently has over 40 kids on the waiting list for a switch adapted toy.

We accept donations at our PO Box 182 3189 Princeton Road Hamilton OH 45011 or by arranging pick up for local donations with regan@kidslikekairo.org .

This batch of toys going out tomorrow takes our waiting list down under 50 (48 to be exact) for the first time in months. Unfortunately, many of the children remaining on the waiting list do not have access to an adaptive switch, meaning we will need to secure additional funding to make sure everyone’s needs are met.

We are in need of your used packaging supplies! We utilize recycled shipping materials when sending out adaptive toys to kids in need. This includes bubble wrap, packing paper, foam peanuts, or even small cardboard boxes (12” or less). Please contact regan@kidslikekairo.org to arrange pickup. We also accept donated shipping materials or toys sent to 3189 Princeton Road PO Box 182 Hamilton OH 45011.
