Linda, a proud 1954 Grove City High School grad and resident of StoryPoint Pickerington, lived her dream by throwing the first pitch at the Annual Fryer Park Softball Tournament! 🥎🥎 From a celebratory send-off at the community to a perfect pitch down the middle, Linda’s smile said it all. She wrapped up her big moment with cheers, hugs, and a shot of Crown Royal! 🥃🎉 Our residents are at the heart of everything we do, their joy is our greatest reward. ❤️✨

As we near the end of July, let’s take a look back at some of the fun we’ve had this month!

From being treated to a taco salad dinner prepared by our resident chef Mike W, Exploring Cow Day and making no bake “cow patties” in Assisted Living, Creating beautiful starry painting with Suzanne in Memory Care, and sunflower wreath-making and our first ever ladies Cinema, Crafts, & Cocktails night in IL- (it was a hit!) we’ve kept busy (and cool!) as we’ve cruised through the 7th month of 2025!

Looking forward to all of the good times still ahead in August and the rest of the year at StoryPoint Fairfield!

The Captain’s Lunch cruise on B&B Riverboats The River Queen was a delightful way to spend a Wednesday afternoon! The food was delicious, the historical facts were fascinating, the banjo music and singing was a blast, but the time spent together cruising down the river was the very best part!

Today was the the perfect sunny, summer day for our annual 4th of July Fun in the Sun Watermelon 🍉 Eating Contest and Water Fight! 💦

For the 3rd year running, our beloved Gerri W. took home the crown by finishing her giant slice of watermelon before any other resident! Del and Barb weren’t far behind for 2nd and 3rd while everyone else ate their watermelon with a side of their dust!

Afterwards everyone enjoyed delicious slices of watermelon before cleaning up and cooling off with a good-natured water balloon fight where everyone was a winner- and very wet!

Thanks for everyone who participated today by joining in or cheering on our contestants!

⚾️ It was another spectacular evening at Foundation Field cheeringHamilton Joe'son Joe's! We love rooting our home team on to victory and fostering the wonderful friendship between The Joes - who’s team and staff always treat us like stars ⭐️ and our beloved home sweet home- StoryPoint Fairfield!

Thanks for another great outing, all the yummy game day snacks, the dancing in the stands, and of course- all star baseball!

We’ll see you again next summer Joes!

We painted the town purple yesterday for The Longest Day!

Held annually on June 20th (the summer solstice),The Longest Day helps fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s by encouraging participants to engage in activities they enjoy to help raise money for Alzheimer’s research and awareness.

Yesterday afternoon we kicked off our summer fundraising season with a Purple Palooza Pep Rally! Everone wore a plethora of purple and Melford T. pumped up the crowd with plenty of soul and a whole lot of dancing!

We are super excited for all of the programs and events we have planned this summer that will not only be tons of fun, but most importantly, help to shine light on Alzheimer’s Disease and raise funds needed for research and treatment.
