TRICARE, BCBS, MEDICARE, MEDICAID Welcome to the page of GPS! I am Dr. Tanya Goodwin-Baldwin, a proud native of Hamlet, NC. I obtained my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Regent University in 2014. In addition to receiving scientific and professional training in clinical psychology, my educational training included a distinctive Christian approach to mental health. I have eight years of experience providing psychological evaluations. I provide evaluations for ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Intellectual disabilities, Learning Disabilities, and other behavioral and emotional concerns. I provides treatment primarily from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework that focuses on the impact our thoughts have on our emotions and behaviors. I also integrate Christian principles or other belief systems into treatment for clients that express that interest. GPS welcomes individuals of all races, genders, religions, sexual orientations, etc. The goal of GPS is to provide a safe, warm, and welcoming environment to make your journey as comfortable as possible. ATTENTION!! We now offer psychological testing for clients located in PSYPACT states via telehealth. These services are self-pay, with the exception of Tricare/Humana Military insurance. Currently, telehealth assessments are not available for IQ testing or achievement/academic testing. We will accept prior psychological testing to aid in the diagnosis of autism, intellectual disabilities, and ADHD.
