Temperatures in mid-20s plus brisk wind could produce dangerous wind chill

WMHA Holiday Love Lites Honor and Remember (Honesdale, November 10, 2025)… The trees outside Wayne Memorial Hospital will again be lit up to honor and remember loved ones during this holiday season. The hospital Auxiliary’s annual Love Lites program, a fundraising tradition since 1991, will take place Monday, December 1st, at 6:00pm. The ceremony will include holiday music, a blessing and refreshments. Afterwards, a “Memory Book” will be displayed in the hospital lobby and on the hospital website listing all the names of those honored or remembered. To participate, download a coupon from www.wmh.org, fill it out and send in $5 for each name “in honor of” or “in memory of” and send to the address on the coupon. “This has become a cherished tradition each year,” said Joyce Malicky, Love Lites committee.
The deadline to submit names is November 28th.
