The Alice Walker benefit was a great success because of so many people’s generosity and good hearts.
Thank you to Hammon All Sports for hosting the event and to Hammon Schools and Canute Schools for supporting it. In addition, we are also very grateful to the many individuals who bought shirts, donated money and bought chances on the quilts. It was a very successful night!
Through your kindness, we exceeded our goal! We paid more than expected to the funeral home and have a nice amount to send for a headstone.
THANK YOU isn’t enough for supporting our Amazing Alice. She’s at peace now and we know her family feels all this love.

We were just informed that ALL BAKED GOODS sold at the concession stand during the Hammon vs Canute game on January 30 will be donated to the Alice Walker Benefit fund.

Alice Ann Walker, a beloved 10-year-old resident of Hammon, OK, passed away on December 31, 2023, at the Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, surrounded by her loving family and her cherished cat Cuddles. In her final moments, she found comfort holding her uncles hand. Born on October 15, 2013,

Our Amazing Alice Ann went to be with Jesus last night. She was a true warrior until the very end. Although we are so sad she is no longer with us, we take great solace in knowing she is with Jesus—free of pain and her little body is new and healthy.

🙏God, we pray that you will draw near to Alice’s parents, her teachers and her friends who are grieving the loss of this sweet soul. 🙏
❤️Tomorrow her classmates and her teachers will begin the second semester of school. It will be a hard, emotional day. Counselors will be on-site for help with the grieving process.

Medical update 12/27/23

Our sweet, brave and Amazing Alice Ann has been placed in OKC at the Integris Hospice House for her medical needs at this point.
We ask that you keep Alice and her family in your prayers in the days to come.

It’s gonna be a “Scooby Doo” kind of day for our Amazing Alice Ann on her birthday celebration TOMORROW from 1-3 pm atthe Hammon Dome (gym). Let’s show our super hero just how special she is on her big day!

Prayer Warriors! You are needed !!!

Alice’s cancer has progressed. Her doctors are working on a plan to help her with treatment and pain.

This sweet girl needs us now more than ever. Please pray for her fears to subside and her medical team to have wisdom. Please pray for her family to know how to comfort her. Please pray for her friends, teachers and the many who love her to know how to help and trust you.

Update! 4:45 pm ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Alice’s X-rays were clear and didn’t show anything wrong in her neck. However, her platelets are low so she’s getting loaded up on platelets and blood. The doctors are still searching for causes. Please continue to pray for her good health. Thank you!!
