STATE BOARD INSPECTION - PASSED! 🤩

I am so excited to share some amazing news... EmVie Aesthetics is officially open, fully approved, and I am officially open for booking! After weeks of planning, decorating, and putting in so much love and hard work, this little suite is finally ready to welcome you.

ALSO, I know many of you have been asking for weekend avallability, so I'm thrilled to announce that I will now be opening 1-2 Saturdays a month for appointments! These Saturdays will be posted random but in advance so you can plan ahead, making it easier for those of you who work during the week to come in and relax 🧖🏻‍♀️

Okay my loves! 🤍 Bear with me on this super long post…

I wanted to give a little update on the spa. I am 99.9% done with my space and it still doesn’t even feel real typing that 🥹

I am just waiting on state board to come do my inspection and I swear I’ve been waiting forever for a call back 😅 I’m praying and believing I will be ready and inspected by the beginning or middle of April ✨

But what means the most to me is sharing the reason behind my new name. Some may like it… Some may hate it…

EmVie Aesthetics was created from the two biggest pieces of my heart, my beautiful daughters💕

Emalee “Emmy” and Everlee “Evie”

Becoming their mom didn’t just change my life, it gave me purpose in a way I had never felt before. After having my girls, I knew in my heart I was meant for more than working an 8 to 5 for someone else who couldn’t care less about me…

I could no longer imagine missing moments with them or having to LITERALLY ASK permission just to be there when they needed me.

They are the reason I went back to school when I was tired, overwhelmed, and doubting myself.

They are the reason I kept pushing on the days I wanted to give up.

They are the reason I chose to believe in myself even when it felt scary.

Every late night, every sacrifice, every step I have taken has been for them.

This business carries their names, but it also carries my whole heart. 🤍

Everything I am building is for them. Everything I do is for them. Always.

After much prayer and consideration, I’ve decided that beginning mid-to-late March, I will be transitioning my aesthetic services to a new location in the Ponchatoula/Hammond area.

Recent changes have led me to make a decision that better aligns with my vision and the experience I want to provide for you.

I will still be at The Skin & Body Shop on Tuesdays and Wednesdays doing medical laser/aesthetic services under Dr. Steen.

If you have a gift card with me, please reach out so we can take care of that before my exit.

This is my client’s VERY first chemical peel and these results are only 6 days post peel 😍

Before introducing a peel, we spent several months properly prepping her skin with acne facials, laser genesis, and a customized at home skincare routine to calm inflammation, strengthen the skin barrier, and set her skin up for success.

We then performed a GlyMed Jessner Peel and the improvement in redness, texture, and inflammation is already so exciting to see.

We still have a few more peels to go to continue correcting and refining, followed by a personalized maintenance plan to keep her skin healthy, clear, and glowing long term.

Extractions can be intimidating, but when done correctly, they’re safe and beneficial. I only perform extractions when truly needed and after the skin is properly cleansed, exfoliated, and softened.

I never force extractions. If a pore isn’t ready, it’s left alone to protect your skin and prevent damage or irritation. Every facial is customized, and skin health always comes first.
