Meet the owner and operator: Rachel Eaton, APN, ACNPC-AG
Rachel has been a registered nurse for over 27 years. Her knowledge and experience include Critical Care, Neurology, PACU, Cardiology / Telemetry, Surgical Services, and Psychiatry. After obtaining her master's degree in Acute Care Nursing, Rachel was certified by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses for Acute Care Nurse Practitioners. During the peak of the pandemic, Rachel cared for patients with active COVID. These individuals included people in the hospital, nursing homes, and the NJ correctional system. Besides working with the acutely ill, Rachel has always remained true to her passion for mental health. She was a clinical instructor for Rutgers University's Bachelor of Science Nursing Program. In addition, she has provided care in the Psychiatric Crisis Center, day programs, and home care. A particular interest to Rachel is the geriatric population. Currently, Rachel provides neuro-psychiatry services to the elderly in nursing homes, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities. Individuals requiring care often have Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and other co-morbid conditions. Rachel knows that today's world is stressful. Free radicals thrive on our stress and cause havoc to the cells in our bodies. As a result, more people are developing cancer, obesity, high blood pressure, anxiety, and diabetes at a younger age than ten years ago. Adding the dangers of poor diet, sedentary lifestyle, COVID, Monkey Pox, influenza, and other illnesses, further supports the need for supplementation. After observing effective treatments, Rachel decided to share her skills and knowledge of vitamin and hydration supplementation with the community to enhance public health and wellness.
