Meet Miss. Lizzie: "Hi! I'm Lizzie, in May I graduated from the University of Maine with a B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders! Over the past year I worked as a BHP, I've found this experience helps me provide well-rounded care for little friends who may need more support regarding regulation or behavior. I grew up in Maine and in my free time I love hiking, reading, and trying to take my cats on walks. I am so excited to work as an SLPA with this amazing team at Speech Solutions!"

“Hello! I’m Amy, and I just graduated with my SLP degree from the University of Wyoming. I was born and raised in Wyoming, but my family is originally from Maine and Massachusetts, so I grew up visiting New England as often as possible. In my free time, I love spending time with friends and family, reading, dabbling in photography, and traveling. I’m so excited to be here in Maine and even more excited to be part of the amazing team at Speech Solutions!”

Here is a little about our new OT, Miss. Lily!

“Hi I’m Lily Leavitt. I’ve been an occupational therapist for the past 4 years with a background in pediatrics. I have previous experience in treating children with sensory processing difficulties, developmental delays, and motor skill development. I am passionate about helping children to reach their goals, develop self confidence, and promote their functional abilities. I believe in a child led approach with meaningful play based interventions to support success. I attended Husson University and obtained my masters degree in occupational therapy in 2021 and my bachelors degree in health sciences in 2020. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, hiking, four wheeling, creating art, and traveling.”

Today is the day we have all been avoiding, as it is Miss. Peyton’s last day. While we knew we couldn’t keep her forever, we are incredibly grateful for the two years we have had together. Thank you for loving your clients and their families while providing the best speech services possible. We are all better for having had you in our lives! We wish you the best in your new adventure but we will surely miss you! 🥰
