"With 15 years in healthcare, I’ve been with Coastal Carolina Care since day one, opening our doors alongside Carrie in 2020. In my role overseeing day-to-day operations, I’m proud to be part of a team that prioritizes patient experience, where we all work together to make sure each patient feels valued.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my spouse of 22 years and our two adult children. I love playing pickleball, relaxing at the beach, and tuning into a good podcast. Being part of Coastal Carolina Care is truly rewarding, and I’m grateful to contribute to such a positive, patient-centered environment every day."

Welcome Kristen Wilson, PA-C!

"With a decade of experience in healthcare, I’m passionate about making a positive impact in our community. I graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Health and Human Services and then completed my Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies, also at ECU. Go Pirates!

I grew up in rural Western NC, and before starting this new role, I spent 10 years working in various emergency departments in Eastern NC and urgent cares in Wilmington.

I met my husband at Camp Caswell in Oak Island, and together we’ve been blessed with four beautiful daughters! We moved to Wilmington eight years ago to plant Restoration Church, and we love spending quality time as a family and in community here in our beautiful coastal town.

I’m excited to be part of this incredible team and look forward to continuing to serve our wonderful community!"

Due to hazardous roadways, we have decided that both offices will remain closed for the day.

We plan to reopen in Hampstead and Sneads Ferry at 8am tomorrow, January 24th.

We hope everyone has enjoyed a snow day and you are all staying warm!

Out of an abundance of caution, we will have a delayed opening tomorrow January 23rd. Our schedules will begin at 12pm in both Hampstead and Sneads Ferry.

We understand some roadways may still be unsafe to drive on, if you feel you cannot safely make it to your appointment tomorrow afternoon please call our office to reschedule.

Say hello to Cody Byrd, PA-C!!

"Hello! My Name is Cody Byrd. I grew up in rural Alabama and I’m the youngest of 6 kids. I went to college in Nashville, TN at Tennessee State University to study Cardiorespiratory Care Sciences. Once I graduated, I worked at Vanderbilt University Children’s Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist. I then went to Lincoln Memorial University in Cumberland Gap, TN for my Master of Medical Sciences degree. After graduating, I began to work primary care medicine and urgent care in Florida and Arizona.

My wife and I moved to Sneads Ferry in October of 2024 to be closer to our family and start a family of our own. We love the beach, fishing, hiking, and golf.

I joined Coastal Carolina Care in November of 2024 and I'm looking forward to providing this great community with excellent care."

Meet Caroline Moore, PA-C!

"I was born and raised in Pender County and attended Wilmington Christian Academy from kindergarten to senior graduation. During college, I studied biochemistry at Campbell University in the small town of Buies Creek, NC. I worked on the film crew for the Fighting Camels football team all four years. After graduation, I returned home to Pender County and worked as an EMT for about a year, while also waiting tables at a local restaurant. I then went on to receive a Master in Science of Clinical Research as well as a Master of Physician Assistant Practice also from Campbell University. I was thrilled to join the Coastal Carolina Team in September of 2024.

I met my husband while working at Max's Pizza in Surf City. We got married 4 years later and have stayed near Surf City ever since! We love going to the beach, hammocking, and exploring our home town in our free time. "
