🌟 Caregiver Spotlight: Kristen Turner 🌟

We’re excited to introduce one of our wonderful caregivers, Kristen Turner!

Kristen loves working with people where they feel most comfortable—at home, surrounded by their families and the things they love. That’s one of the reasons she enjoys being part of the New Estuary team. Providing care in a client’s home allows her to build meaningful connections and learn the incredible stories and life experiences each client has to share.

Kristen’s passion for healthcare started early when she volunteered in assisted living facilities as a teenager. After graduating, she began working in one and discovered just how much she loved caring for others. Through New Estuary, Kristen is currently working toward earning her CNA, and she has big goals ahead—she plans to continue her education and earn her A.D.N. to become a nurse! 👩‍⚕️

When she’s not caring for clients, Kristen enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, watching shows, reading, baking, doing crafts, and exploring the outdoors. She also loves visiting museums and art galleries whenever she can.

We’re so grateful to have Kristen on our team and to see the compassion and dedication she brings to our clients every day. 💙

Our Caregiver Support Group is tomorrow at 10 AM at our Hampstead office.

We’re looking forward to having Monica from Amedisys with us as our guest speaker. It’s going to be a great time to connect, talk through real life challenges, and just be in a room with others who understand the caregiver journey.

We are keeping a close eye on the forecast and there is potential for snow this weekend. While nothing is guaranteed yet we want everyone to know we are planning ahead to keep care consistent and clients safe.

Our team is reviewing schedules road conditions and backup plans in case travel becomes difficult. If you or your loved one receive care and have specific concerns or would like to discuss coverage options please reach out to us sooner rather than later.

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Jasmine, one of our incredible caregivers who truly has a heart for service 💙

Jasmine began caring for family and church members as early as middle school, and her passion for helping others only grew from there. After serving as the overseer of her grandmother’s hospice care, she went on to gain 10+ years of experience in healthcare, along with 8+ years as a General Manager in food service and retail.

Jasmine loves caring for seniors because she treasures their wisdom, life stories, and the joy that comes from shared laughter and meaningful connections 😊 Seeing a smile on a client’s face is what fuels her every day.

When she’s not caring for our clients, Jasmine is caring for her own family—she’s a proud mother of two. In her spare time, she loves to cook (and yes, she can cook anything! 🍳), try new recipes, sing, dance, play video games, and read. She also enjoys decorating and has cosmetology experience—doing her own hair, nails, and pedicures 💅✨

Looking ahead, Jasmine plans to finish her degree in Forensic Science, with hopes of working alongside local police or higher agencies.

✨ Fun fact: Jasmine will always try to brighten your day!

We are so grateful to have Jasmine on our team and thankful for the compassion, joy, and dedication she brings to those she serves 💐

🌟 Caregiver Spotlight: Meet Michelle! 🌟

We’re excited to introduce Michelle, one of our amazing caregivers here at New Estuary!

Healthcare is Michelle’s second career, following 28 years in the legal field. She felt called to make a difference in a more personal way and found her passion in caring for the elderly, who hold a very special place in her heart. Michelle loves listening to their incredible stories and honoring the life experiences they share.

Michelle joined New Estuary to gain hands-on experience working with seniors and to complete our CNA class. She values our integrity, high standards, and commitment to preparing exceptional CNAs for the healthcare industry.

When she’s not caring for clients, you’ll find Michelle enjoying beach and water activities, reading a good book, spending time in nature, listening to local bands, and exploring local coffee shops (coffee is a must ☕️!).

Michelle’s future goal is to continue working in home healthcare and to remain a strong advocate for our elderly community. We’re so grateful to have her compassion, dedication, and heart on our team! 💙
