✨ Choosing Myself, Healing Myself ✨
There comes a moment when you look at your life and realize something has to give.
For me, that moment came when I was living in constant pain, battling fatigue, and carrying around inflammation and exhaustion like heavy armor. I was tired of hurting & tired of putting myself last.
On May 1st, 2025, I made a decision:
To choose myself. To practice what I preach to my clients every single day — that healing is possible, that change is possible, and that your health is worth showing up for.
It didn’t happen overnight. Change rarely does. But every small choice mattered:
• Prioritizing movement & rebuilding my strength
• Fueling my body w/ foods that helped me, not harmed me
• Strengthening & stabilizing muscles to support my joints
• Allowing myself rest, balance, and deep recovery
Slowly, my body began to heal. My SI joint dysfunction stopped ruling my life. I celebrated tiny milestones — like stepping up onto a curb without pain or sleeping on my side without my arms going numb. Each victory reminded me that consistency works.
Since then, I’ve released over 70 pounds. That’s the weight of two 35-lb bags of birdseed I used to carry every single day — no wonder I was exhausted, inflamed, and stuck!!
But this isn’t just about the weight I lost.
It’s about the life I gained: energy, freedom, confidence, & the ability to move w/o constant pain.
And I share this b/c I want you to know something important: you can do it, too.
Whether it’s weight, pain, stress, or exhaustion — you’re not stuck. Healing starts with a choice.
What you don’t change, you choose.
Choose yourself. Start small. Start today. You deserve to feel good in your body. You deserve to thrive. 🌿
