Today I was so moved. To say this event was amazing would be an understatement. Things just went perfectly…The weather, the set up, the local business presence, support & sponsorship….volunteers, the number of participants - who EXCEEDED our wildest dreams (over 300 of them!)….the live music, the stories, the energy from this entire day just left me speechless.
I’m in awe as I think over the day and what it takes to put together a 5k event like this. It was NBCRs very first and you’d never know it.
There’s a very special group of women behind it all North of Boston Cancer Resource who I truly admire.
The success of today’s event just shows how much heart, soul & compassion these leaders have. It is their mission to ensure that cancer support services are available to our community members for years to come.
