Lipedema ≠ Lymphedema

Too often, Lipedema is misunderstood, misdiagnosed, or dismissed entirely. Confusion between Lipedema and lymphedema leads many patients down the wrong path, delaying appropriate care and support.

Lipedema is a distinct condition with unique symptoms, treatments, and challenges. Greater awareness means better understanding, earlier diagnosis, and more effective care.

Hello! Thank you for visiting my page. Welcome to PAM Wellness, my name is Wendy, I am a Licensed Massage Therapist offering therapeutic bodywork. I trained at Pacific Center for Awareness and Bodywork, am certified in medical massage and have advanced training in manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) with the Chickley Institute. Combining my knowledge of deep fascia work with MLD can release inflammation and structural restrictions. MLD is also a very effective treatment for lipedema and lymphedema. If you don’t know what fascia is or what the lymphatic system has to do with anything, sit tight - I will be sharing videos and other information very soon.
